Meet Rosie

Who am I?

I'm Rosie, a lover of colour (can you tell?) and a local of Bomaderry, on the NSW South Coast. My career started during the 80’s, supporting persons with a disability with complex high physical and behaviour needs. I later transitioned to supporting persons with psychiatric illness. Throughout this career, I have been nurturing and following my intuition (with the appropriate passion of a redhead!) to care and help people within the broader community.
And guess what else? I'm just like you! I've experienced anxiety, I've had low self esteem and addictive habits. There, I said it. So quite a few years ago, I found a new obsession. Finding solutions to these problems (I know, it's a bit ironic).
But seriously, I went on a quest to understand how anxiety and habits are formed, so I could release myself from them. I dug deep, studied hard, tried and tested so many techniques, and in the process, I discovered Rapid Conversational Hypnotherapy (RCH) and Fastereft (tapping). Although it's a fancy name, what it means is I combine several therapeutic models to cut through past beliefs and traumas, and get rid of the habits they create. And yes, it works. When you come to me for help, there is no judgement. I completely, 100% get you. And I completely, 100% want to help you. We work using online sessions where you will feel being safe in your own home. Although we have fun, we also get serious, release your trauma and kick those habits to the curb! My aim is to have your issue solved in one session saving you valuable time with no need for management processes or multiple sessions. So that's me. Now, I want to find out about you! So, you know what to do...

What people say

As a child I endured emotional and physical abuse from my family. I was easily triggered by the slightest upset or disagreement. At times I was controlled by my anger that resulted in me being verbally abusive towards my husband and my children hearing the outbursts. I was scared that I was repeating the same behaviour from my childhood. I had talk therapy with a counsellor but it did not work. I gave Rosemary a go and after the first session I knew there was hope. I continued seeing her for further sessions and after two months my life was totally changed. Rosemary saved my life and the life of my family. I am forever grateful.

I attended a community talk for parents and carers whose family was on Ice. My son was addicted. He was at University very talented and a future in front of him and all I could see was his life falling away. At the talk the lecturer recommended that family members and carers seek support for themselves to help them deal with the difficulties. I was immediately at ease from my first session with Rosemary. The extreme anxiety that I was experiencing diminished to one of strong support for my son. I also observed that my relationship with my husband had also improved. I am sure the change in me was a major factor in my son seeking help and getting himself off ice.

On the outside I had a great job, home but no relationship as I was depressed. I believed that I was worthless and unlovable and even that I must be gay as any relationships that I had never worked out. Rosemary identified my negative thought patterns and beliefs. Within two sessions my life had changed to one where I believed that I had a better future. When things in my life get a little tough, I just pop back to see Rosemary for a top up of positivity.
